Close to the main village of Santorini - Fira - you find the quiet village of Karterados at the east part of the island, which is more flat and not as touristic and expensive as the west part, where the famous towns of Oia and Fira are looking to the Caldera. The little village of nine houses has a beautiful view over the sea until the island of Anafi. The well-equipped houses are very tasteful furnished. Every house has television, climatisation, stove, telephone with direct dial. The houses have been built from ancient vine cellars. Outside you find a lot of space in shady gardens and places with palm trees, squares for children to play, swimming pool, special pool for children and two tennis courts. The distance to Fira is one mile, to the black sandy beaches of Perissa 3 miles, to the next village (bakery, tavernas, supermarkets, car rental a.s.o.) only 300 meters.
